Livestock production suffers from the harmful effects of tick-borne pathogens, which also pose a significant threat to public health. Livestock ticks collected in the Kassena-Nankana Districts between February 2020 and December 2020 were investigated, and this study identified the presence of Anaplasma and Ehrlichia species. A cross-sectional analysis was performed on data gathered from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) during 2007-2010. The sample included 20,686 subjects. A total of 3403 men and postmenopausal women, aged 50 years or older, with accessible data on osteoporosis and/or fragility fracture diagnoses, bone mineral density (BMD), and thyroid function, were eligible participants.
